Spot Deceptive Hotel Reviews - Chrome Extension
Spot Deceptive Hotel Reviews is a Chrome extension developed by Zhuoli. This free extension utilizes a pre-trained LSTM model with 99% test accuracy to identify deceptive hotel reviews written in English.
With the help of deep learning, this extension is able to analyze the nature of a target review and provide a prediction on its authenticity. To use the extension, simply enable it and select the review text you would like to identify using your mouse. After a few seconds, a small message window will appear displaying the prediction result.
The prediction result includes three key pieces of information. Firstly, the extension provides a sentiment analysis of the review, which can be used as a reference for the reliability of the prediction. Secondly, it identifies whether the review is genuine or deceptive. Lastly, it indicates the confidence level of the model in its prediction.
